About HTML Compare

HTML Compare was conceived and designed by a technical writing team in a large Internet company. The problem they encountered is that it was impossible to see what changes occurred between different versions of the company's Web site. Furthermore, the company's international partners were responsible for maintaining the site in several languages. When the main site changed, there was no reliable way to show the translators exactly what had changed. Hence, HTML Compare was born.
